Lexia

Lexia is a computer program that helps students with phonemic awareness and phonics. At the upper level it also teaches students some Greek and Latin roots. If you are interested in taking advantage of this program, please email me with the student's name and I will set up an account. This program needs to be downloaded to your computer so I will send home the instructions on how to do that. You can also use this program for your younger children, those at Ide or those who have not started kindergarten yet. It is a fun way to help students gain phonics and word skills.
